Since I was little, I have been fascinated by the idea that the smallest and simplest structures come together to form the complex world around me. Although I have always loved science, I was initially drawn to the topics of ecology and evolution during my undergraduate career at Boston College. Since then, I have become interested in understanding organismal adaptations along environmental gradients at all levels of biological organization.
