Rachel Berg
Growing up in Northern Minnesota initiated my interest in the natural world. I had a growing curiosity in understanding the interconnectedness of the world, leading me to pursue a career in the biological sciences. I earned my bachelor’s degree in ecology, evolution, and behavior from the University of Minnesota, and recently graduated with my master’s from Illinois State University. My previous research was focused on the ecology and evolution of several mammal species. Currently, I am taking a genomic approach to study evolution and adaptation in live bearing fish species to understand how species relate to their environment and each other. Contact Information
